Give the Gift of Education

The holiday season is a time of giving and a time for reflecting on the blessings we enjoy. Students, faculty and staff at Nash Community College are appreciative of the many loyal supporters who have demonstrated their generosity this year. Nash Community College students are the direct beneficiary of the community’s investment in the future.

For those considering a year-end charitable gift, please consider the “gift of education” and be assured of making a lasting impact. Donations of any size can be made in honor or in memory of a special friend or family member. The NCC Foundation will send a personalized notice informing the person of the thoughtful gift.

“As an alumnus of Nash Community College, it is an honor to thank you for your consideration of supporting the Nash Community College Foundation. I know firsthand how important you are to the students whose lives are impacted by your dedication and commitment to their success,” 2012 NCC Foundation Board President Lyn Brown said.

Nash Community College employees this year gave back to students in need during the NCC Foundation’s annual Campus Fund Drive by donating at total of $34,236, a 38 percent increase in employee giving from the previous year.

“I have chosen to support Nash Community College because I know the difference the institution makes for the students and our community. Your willingness to provide this gift will make a positive impact for the students. On behalf of the NCC Foundation Board of Directors, I extend our deepest appreciation for your support and commitment to the Nash/Rocky Mount area,” Brown said.

The College will close for business December 19, however, mail and phone messages will be checked periodically during the holiday break. For more information or to make a donation, please call 252-451-8329 or visit www.nashcc.edu/giving to donate online.
