Benvenue Alumni Association Provides NCC Scholarship

The Benvenue Alumni Association Scholarship at Nash Community College, was recently awarded to Jenna Greene of Rocky Mount. Nash Community College is accepting applications for the Benvenue Alumni Association scholarship until March 15, 2014. The scholarship fund reflects the alumni’s commitment to education and their belief in preparing the citizens of the Nash/Rocky Mount area to meet the community’s need for a skilled workforce. The scholarship endowment serves as a historical legacy and tribute to Benvenue High School which was the original campus of Nash Technical Institute.

 

Priority scholarship consideration will be given to full-time students with financial need whose immediate family attended Benvenue High School. The recipient should have at least a 2.5 grade point average and demonstrate potential for success. There is no restriction to program of study.
