College to Showcase Student Work in Creative Minds Art Show

art show flyerThe latest creations by this year’s Advertising and Graphic Design students will be featured in the Brown Auditorium at Nash Community College on Thursday, April 23.  The majority of work displayed at this year’s art show will be that of students set to graduate this semester, but a few of the College’s faculty members and two first-year students of the program have also submitted work for display.

“Students have worked so hard for the two years they have been at Nash Community College and they (including myself) are proud of their work.  They want to share it with the community, ” expressed Natasha Neal, Nash Community College Advertising and Graphic Design Instructor. Neal advises attendees to be on the lookout for some impressive digitally drawn illustrations and vector art of cars that appear to be photographs but are not. Community members and employers are encouraged to attend and meet the students as they display their creative work.

Admission to this event is free and everyone is welcome. The College’s Culinary Arts students will serve Hors D’oeuvres and music will be provided by the Nash Central High School Jazz band.
