Tackle the Tar Awards NCC Foundation $12,000

The Nash Community College Foundation was recently awarded $12,000 by Rotary Club of Rocky Mount from proceeds raised at Tackle the Tar. Tackle the Tar, the first local event of its kind, was held in May 2016. The 5k obstacle course race and family fun day raised money for scholarships for students attending college in the Twin Counties.
