<\/p>\nRepresentatives from the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina and Nash County Economic Development visited Nash Community College Wednesday, November 18, 2020 for a meet and greet to tour the college’s Advanced Manufacturing Building.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs a part of an all-day tour of the county and businesses, it\u2019s always a high priority to introduce visitors, especially the new EDPNC business recruitment managers, to our partners at Nash Community College, who are key members of our economic development team,” Andy Hagy, Nash County Director of Economic Development said.<\/p>\n
NCC Industrial & Manufacturing Technologies Department Chair Gary Blackburn and Machining Professor George Shook led the tour of the 16,000 square foot building.\u00a0The facility is home\u00a0to the Electrical Systems Technology, Computer-Integrated Machining, Electronics Engineering Technology, and Robotics programs of study.<\/p>\n
