The ambulance simulator is located inside the Continuing Education and Public Services building located on the south end of campus.\u00a0The new equipment adds to the college&#8217;s existing ambulance, classroom space and training field.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-11980 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nashccnews.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/DSC_0661-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"703\" height=\"469\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nashccnews.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/DSC_0661-1.jpg 1440w, https:\/\/www.nashccnews.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/DSC_0661-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.nashccnews.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/DSC_0661-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.nashccnews.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/DSC_0661-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 703px) 100vw, 703px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The high-fidelity\u00a0simulation mannequin incorporates computer hardware that can be programmed to allow the highest level of instruction to Emergency Medical Services students as they practice and respond to a variety of scenarios to replicate what they would encounter in the real world. NCC&#8217;s training is tailored to meet the needs of students\u00a0in degree and continuing education EMT, Advanced\u00a0EMT and Paramedic programs.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-11978 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nashccnews.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/DSC_0651-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"742\" height=\"495\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nashccnews.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/DSC_0651-1.jpg 1440w, https:\/\/www.nashccnews.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/DSC_0651-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.nashccnews.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/DSC_0651-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.nashccnews.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/DSC_0651-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 742px) 100vw, 742px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The new simulator will also allow for tailored training specific to treatment areas identified as critical by local peer review committees and will serve local agency employees&#8217; specific needs for skill enhancement. During the pandemic, the equipment will be utilized as another option to bridge gaps in clinical and field opportunities when hospital or EMS partners cannot sustain student internships.
