She was deployed to Africa, Dubai and England as a\u00a0machinist mate servicing the\u00a0aircraft carrier&#8217;s\u00a0engines and other mechanical systems.<\/p>\n<p>Graham graduated from Barton College with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in psychology and then began working at a pharmaceutical plant as a biologist. &#8220;I just want to keep learning,\u201d she said. Since as far back as I can remember I have always loved dealing with numbers.
