Students from Nash, Granville, Johnston, Vance and Warren County Sheriff\u2019s Offices completed Detention Officer training at Nash Community College on Friday, September 3, 2021. The certification includes 178 hours of instruction designed to train qualified participants to function as officers in detention facilities. The course is governed by the North Carolina Sheriffs\u2019 and\u00a0North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commissions.<\/div>\n<\/p>\n
