While enrolled at the high school, Dickinson is earning college credits, tuition-free and also enjoying a traditional high school experience.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Th<span class=\"gmail_default\">\u200be\u200b<\/span><span class=\"gmail_default\">\u200b\u00a0\u200bCareer and College Promise\u200b at Nash Community College\u200b<\/span>\u00a0is amazing because it allows me to earn college credits which sometimes double as my high school credits<span class=\"gmail_default\">\u200b,&#8221; Dickinson said.\u200b &#8220;<\/span><span class=\"gmail_default\">B<\/span>y taking these courses, I can show that I am academically up to par and<span class=\"gmail_default\">\u200b I will\u200b<\/span>\u00a0have more opportunities for scholarships.<span class=\"gmail_default\">\u200b \u200b<\/span>I only have positive things to say about this program.<span class=\"gmail_default\">\u200b&#8221;\u200b<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">\u200bCareer and College Promise offers many courses that transfer to four-year\u00a0institutions and help students start their college career with\u00a0credits already on their transcript. Career and Technical Education courses can be taken\u00a0to earn career credentials and certificates, helping students\u00a0become more versatile in their chosen field. The program is an opportunity for high school\u00a0students to experience the rigors of college and explore a\u00a0multitude of careers, all tuition-free!\u200b<\/div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">\n<p>&#8220;One of the perks of being a CCP student is the flexibility that I have,&#8221; Dickinson said. &#8220;I love that instead of a scheduled class I am able to complete my work when it is most convenient for me.&#8221;<span class=\"gmail_default\">\u200bDickinson plans to earn<\/span>\u00a0most of the college credits<span class=\"gmail_default\">\u200b she<\/span>\u00a0will need for\u00a0<span class=\"gmail_default\">\u200bher\u200b<\/span>\u00a0Associate<span class=\"gmail_default\">\u200b in<\/span>\u00a0Arts degree.<span class=\"gmail_default\">\u200b &#8220;<\/span>After graduating high school, I plan to attend NCC to complete my<span class=\"gmail_default\">\u200b\u00a0<\/span>degree.
