Nash Community College has been selected to participate in the 2023-2024 SECU (State Employees Credit Union) Bridge to Career Program to support Continuing Education student scholarships.<\/p>\n

NCC first participated during the 2022-2023 term. The program will operate during the period of July 1, 2023, to Aug. 31, 2024.<\/p>\n

SECU awarded $18,000 to fund over 30 scholarships and administrative expenses. \u201cThe SECU Foundation Bridge to Career program supports North Carolina Community College System students seeking to obtain state-regulated or industry-recognized credentials through the Workforce Continuing Education Division that lead to sustainable wage careers within their local communities,\u201d said SECU Nashville, NC Branch Manager, Susan Stephens.<\/p>\n

This award provides 30 scholarships, each in the amount of $500, to assist students in continuing their studies and making a difference in a life-changing career.<\/p>\n
