Nash Community College takes pride in the opportunity to support and celebrate the Nash County community.<\/p>\n
The NCC Student Government Association (SGA) and Artistic Designers Club will host a Trunk-or-Treat event for community members on Oct 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Continuing Education and Public Services Building Parking Lot.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll of our clubs, especially the overarching SGA, love to develop events that community members can benefit from,\u201d said Kara Deans, associate dean of student engagement at NCC. \u201cWhile a core part of student engagement is internal events, primarily student-focused, we are just as committed to giving back to the community that has given so much to us.\u201d<\/p>\n
Students, faculty and staff of the University will all participate in this family-friendly event.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have asked NCC clubs, faculty, staff and students to participate by entering a decorated car and passing out candy for visitors,\u201d said Deans.<\/p>\n
There will be a contest for the best trunk decoration, which the community will vote on and the winner will receive a prize.<\/p>\n
