I hold my General Instructor certification from the North Carolina Criminal Justice Training and Standards Commission. During my career, I’ve been honored with being named the Wake County Exchange Clubs Police Officer of the Year, American Legion Department of NC Police Officer of the Year, the American Legion National Police Officer of the Year, and I have an Advanced Law Enforcement Certification. In addition to vocational responsibilities I also serve on the State Employees Credit Union Hilburn Drive Advisory Board, teach a law enforcement continuing education course I authored and am a life member of the National Eagle Scout Association. There is no doubt that the educational foundation I received at Nash Community College prepared the way for these, and many future endeavors.

Contributed by Scott Womack

Upon graduation from Northern Nash High School (then Northern Nash Senior High), I embarked on my adult education journey at Nash Community College by enrolling in the College Transfer program. During… Continue Reading

[16,4
