\"20151012_171629\"Nash Community College recently offered its\u00a0first North Carolina Criminal Justice Training and Standards Commission Approved General Instructor class. Taught\u00a0in the Continuing Education and Public Services Building, the training was\u00a0provided for\u00a0professionals with\u00a0experience as a criminal justice officer or as an administrator or specialist in a field directly related to the criminal justice system\u00a0desiring\u00a0to teach or make presentations in Commission-certified criminal justice training courses or programs. The students completed an\u00a080-hour program designing and executing lesson plans. They were also required to successfully pass the comprehensive state examination. Upon completion of these criteria, they\u00a0are eligible to be credentialed as a North Carolina Commission approved General Instructors.<\/p>\n
