Taught\u00a0in the Continuing Education and Public Services Building, the training was\u00a0provided for\u00a0professionals with\u00a0experience as a criminal justice officer or as an administrator or specialist in a field directly related to the criminal justice system\u00a0desiring\u00a0to teach or make presentations in Commission-certified criminal justice training courses or programs. The students completed an\u00a080-hour program designing and executing lesson plans. They were also required to successfully pass the comprehensive state examination. Upon completion of these criteria, they\u00a0are eligible to be credentialed as a North Carolina Commission approved General Instructors.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to the nine individuals who recently completed the program.
