Of the six graduates, four have already begun their careers as emergency dispatchers with Nash County 911. \u201cWe have a history of being at the forefront of training, offering relevant\u00a0programs with real-world applications. The Emergency Dispatch Academy prepares students for local in-demand careers,\u201d said NCC President Dr. Bill Carver.<\/p>\n<p>The Emergency Dispatch Academy features instructor led lectures, hands-on experience with a dispatch console, opportunities to participate in real life scenarios while learning essential multi-tasking techniques, and written assessments such as quizzes, module exams and a final exam.
