\"15781199_10154246578146903_3601228522550788454_n-1\"<\/a>Nash Community College is pleased to announce the launch of its redesigned website\u00a0www.nashcc.edu<\/a>.The new site features an updated overall graphic look, and easy navigation carefully designed with users in mind.\u00a0The college contracted with a Raleigh web development and design firm\u00a0to rebuild its main website following the creation of the\u00a0Nash Online website<\/a>. Nash Online was established to provide opportunities for students seeking\u00a0degrees, diplomas and certificates entirely online\u00a0without the requirement to visit NCC\u2019s physical campus.<\/div>\n

“More than ever before, the college’s site is accessed from mobile devices and tablets. The new website is responsive and effectively delivers content to users on demand, where they are. We have created a more user-centric experience across multiple platforms and devices,” NCC President Dr. Bill Carver said.<\/p>\n

The college’s website redesign project began with a discovery phase in June 2016.\u00a0A committee representing each academic and service area provided review and approval at various stages including the site outline, a working prototype, graphic presentation and beta site launch.<\/div>\n

In addition to an entirely new layout and design, nashcc.edu<\/a>\u2019s new features include a more intuitive and logical navigation system, an improved site search function, enhanced availability of course and program requirements and information and a more advanced\u00a0content management system.<\/div>\n

\u201cIt is critical that we make website content decisions with our site visitors \u2013 prospective students, parents, community members, current students and other stakeholders \u2013 in mind. Just as we are always seeking to improve the on-campus experience, NCC replicates that same quality of service in its online presence,\u201d NCC Dean of Marketing Kelley Deal said. \u201cUsing what we learned from analytics on\u00a0the previous site, and applying website\u00a0best practices, we worked with developers\u00a0to design easy-to-use navigation that leads visitors to the content they need.\u201d<\/div>\n
