The students took home four medals in each: first, second and third place, two medals for fourth place and five fifth-place medals. Additionally, NCC student Joshua West received state recognition as Outstanding Student Member and NCC Machining Instructor George Shook was recognized as Post Secondary Advisor of the Year.<\/p>\n<p>SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. Nash Community College\u2019s chapter was chartered during the Spring 2017 Semester signifying the partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to promote a highly skilled workforce.
