NCC competing for the first time in the\u00a0Technical Computer Applications category won first place for Nationals after placing first in the state.<\/p>\n<p>NCC&#8217;s final national results: Heather Poythress, 1st in Technical Computer Applications; Celeste Powell, Brandy Davis, Gabrielle Simmons, 6th in Career Pathways Showcase; and Emanuel Castaneda, 32nd in Welding. Great job by all NCC students and advisers.<\/p>\n<p>SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. Nash Community College\u2019s chapter was chartered during the Spring 2017 Semester signifying the partnership of students, teachers, and industry working together to promote a highly skilled workforce.
