NCC Students Complete Disaster Drill
Nash Community College Fire and EMT academy students participated in a disaster drill simulating an explosion and structural collapse due to a plane crash Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the College’s burn laboratory. Victims were played by NCC Medical Assisting students. The simulation included navigating a dark building, emergency response, moving through an obstacle course, patient care and triage. Special thanks to Coopers Fire Department and Red Oak Fire Department for volunteering at the exercise.
