2015-2016 Student Nurses’ Association Officers Named

Nash Community College is proud to introduce the 2015-2016 Student Nurses’ Association officers. The Student Nurses’ Association, consisting of prenursing and nursing students, is the pre-professional organization for student nurses at Nash Community College. Affiliated with the North Carolina Association of Nursing Students and the National Student Nurses’ Association, the organization provides opportunities for personal and professional growth maximizing leadership potential in order to enhance career development. Members of the organization have direct input into standards of nursing education and influence the education process, influence health care, nursing education and practice through legislative activities, promote and encourage participation in community affairs and activities towards improved health care and the resolution of related social issues, represent nursing students to the consumer; to institutions; and other organizations, promote and encourage students’ participation in interdisciplinary activities; promote and encourage recruitment efforts; and promote and encourage collaborative relationships with nursing and related health organizations.
