Students and Faculty Study Abroad

Humanities & Social Sciences Department Chair/QEP Director Lisa Cooper, faculty/staff chaperones and 21 students from Nash Community College were given a grand send off Thursday, October 6th as they departed for Toronto, Ontario. The Study Abroad trip gave the students an opportunity to experience the Stratford Festival and other landmarks around Toronto.

The group’s first stop was at the picturesque Niagara Falls. On Friday, they arrived in Stratford, Ontario to participate in the annual Stratford Festival, a premiere theatre destination. The group saw four professional shows and took two behind-the-scenes tours. The final stop was the in Toronto. While touring, students enjoyed sampling native dishes such as Poutine. However, they reportedly missed their beloved sweet tea. All of the travelers had a great time and an unforgettable experience.
