NCC Announces Nash Reads Book

Nash Community College announces its next “Nash Reads” book is Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead by Sheryl Sandberg, chief operating officer at Facebook. Now in its sixth year, “Nash Reads” is a co-curricular activity designed to foster a sense of community through a shared reading experience that promotes academic discourse, integrates social and educational experiences, and encourages service to the community campus-wide and beyond.

NCC students, faculty, staff, alumni and members of the community are encouraged to read the book and participate in “Nash Reads” programs. Copies will soon be available for check out at the NCC Library and for purchase at the NCC Campus Store. Encourage others to read the book and plan on attending “Nash Reads” programs during the fall and spring semesters. Several NCC faculty will use Lean In to enhance assignments in their courses.
