Riverside Vet Hospital Establishes NCC Scholarship

The Nash Community College Foundation has announced the establishment of the Riverside Veterinary Hospital Technician Scholarship to help support students pursuing a career as a Registered Veterinary Medical Technician.

“We are so appreciative to receive the endorsement of Dr. Bob Cameron for our Vet Tech program. He has been on board with this program since the beginning, and we are grateful for his support of our students,” NCC Vice President of Advancement Pam Ballew said.

The scholarship was established by Riverside Veterinary Hospital in Rocky Mount to honor veterinary teams dedicated to the compassionate care of animals and the people who own or care for them. The Registered Veterinary Technician is a vital part of this team.

The scholarship will be awarded annually to first and second year Veterinary Medical Technology students enrolled at NCC.
