Tree Planting Event Held at Nashville Elementary School

Celebrating the ongoing partnership between the Town of Nashville, which became a Tree City in 2019, Nash Community College, which is a Tree Campus and Bee Campus, and Nashville Elementary School, which is expanding its science and outdoor education programming, a tree planting was held on October 29, 2020 at Nashville Elementary School. During the event, two Honeycrisp apple trees, provided by the Town of Nashville, were planted, with plans to continue expanding the fruit tree planting area.
