NCC Foundation Plans 2022 Sporting Clays Tournament

Nash Community College’s Foundation, SkillsUSA Chapter, and Advanced Manufacturing Club will host the Student Scholarship Sporting Clays Tournament on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Rose Hill Sporting Clays & Hunting Preserve in Nashville, NC. Proceeds from the tournament support scholarships for students attending Nash Community College, SkillsUSA competitions, and the Advanced Manufacturing Club.

Rose Hill’s Sporting Clays Center has been featured on ESPN Outdoors and is home to one of the country’s most elite shooting tournaments. Participants will test their skills while enjoying an afternoon of fun in support of deserving college students.

This year’s tournament is co-chaired by Danny and Jane Tyson and Victoria Whitley, Southern Nash High School ag teacher and Future Farmers of America advisor. Tournament committee members include NCC employees Alex Barnhill, Department Chair, Applied Engineering Technologies; Jason Brannan, Instructor, Computer-Integrated Machining; Pam Ballew, Vice President of Advancement; Denise Beamer, Coordinator of Donor and Alumni Relations and Anne Parker Chambless, NCC Advancement Assistant.
