Wanda Corbin-Robinson: High School Career and College Promise Partner Spotlight

NCC’s Career and College Promise team would like to give a shout-out to Mrs. Wanda Corbin-Robinson, a counselor at CITI High School for her support of students dually enrolled at CITI High and NCC.

“I have an awesome opportunity to work with students. In my role as counselor, I encourage students to push through challenging coursework, to set short-term goals for themselves, in order to achieve their long-term goal of earning a high school diploma, certification and an associate degree from Nash Community College. When students accept the challenge of being dually enrolled, it is very rewarding to see them succeed academically and blossom into mature students. It takes a team of people to encourage students toward this end. I am grateful to work with a great academic community of people.” Wanda Corbin-Robinson
