NCC Foundation Kicks Off Annual Campaign

The Nash Community College Foundation Board of Directors kicked off its annual community fundraising campaign on February 28, 2023 which runs through June 30, 2023. Funds raised during the campaign will support students seeking assistance with their educational expenses and will also support instructional needs of the college.

Last year, the NCC Foundation awarded 286 scholarships totaling $268,282 thanks to the generosity of donors. The College is grateful to the individuals and organizations who choose to support Nash Community College by contributing to the Nash Community College Foundation Annual Campaign.

The first gift of the campaign was made by NCC retirees, Robin and Mike Latham, for the Owens-Latham Endowment. The Lathams have established five scholarships including the Louise and David Latham Memorial Scholarship, the Annette Poirier Wolfe Memorial Scholarship, the Gilbert and Kathleen Snell Memorial Scholarship, the Billie Pate Memorial Scholarship and the Latham Family South Rocky Mount Scholarship. The endowment ensures the perpetual funding of these scholarships.
