NCC to Offer Free Women’s Events to Support Small Businesses

During the month of March, Nash Community College’s Small Business Center will celebrate Women’s History Month with free learning opportunities geared toward women in business.

The signature event, “The Power of H.E.R. (Helping Entrepreneurs Rise),” will be held on March 16 from 10AM-12PM in the Nash Community College Brown Auditorium.

“Our goal is to empower women entrepreneurs and leaders who are looking for the support and tools necessary to take their businesses and leadership to the next level,” Small Business Center Director Derrick Armstead said.

The event is for women at all phases of business and business development including aspiring entrepreneurs who are preparing to launch a business, experienced entrepreneurs and leaders who want to enhance their skills and become more effective in their leadership.

“Attendees will be connected to like-minded individuals who can offer peer support and empowerment and will receive guidance on tools that could enhance their business,” Armstead said.
