Nash Community College SGA and Artistic Designers Club to Host Community Trunk-or-Treat event
Nash Community College takes pride in the opportunity to support and celebrate the Nash County community.
The NCC Student Government Association (SGA) and Artistic Designers Club will host a Trunk-or-Treat event for community members on Oct 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Continuing Education and Public Services Building Parking Lot.
“All of our clubs, especially the overarching SGA, love to develop events that community members can benefit from,” said Kara Deans, associate dean of student engagement at NCC. “While a core part of student engagement is internal events, primarily student-focused, we are just as committed to giving back to the community that has given so much to us.”
Students, faculty and staff of the University will all participate in this family-friendly event.
“We have asked NCC clubs, faculty, staff and students to participate by entering a decorated car and passing out candy for visitors,” said Deans.
There will be a contest for the best trunk decoration, which the community will vote on and the winner will receive a prize.
NCC hopes that all will join us!
