Nash Community College to host 2013 Back to Work Job Fair

Nash Community College will host a ‘Back to Work’ Job Fair on April 18th from 9 am until noon in the college’s Brown Auditorium. Last year’s event, co-sponsored by Senator Kay Hagan, drew approximately 60 employers and more than 800 job seekers.

“This job fair has the potential to be even larger than last year’s event because we are seeing an increase in jobs available. Local employers with job openings are already contacting us to register for the event,” NCC Career and Job Placement Coordinator Michael Coleman said.

The general public is welcome to attend without registration; however, employers interested in having a table at the event must register by going to www.nashcc.edu/jobfair. Employer registration is free and includes one 3’x6′ table and two chairs.  A complimentary breakfast will be served at 8:30am to employers who register by April 12th.

Businesses and employers with open positions and job seekers are strongly encouraged to participate at no cost.
