NCC Employee Giving Recognized by United Way

Nash Community College was recognized at a recent United Way luncheon for having the largest employee participation increase. In 2012, Nash Community College faculty and staff contributed over $18,000, a 99 percent increase in faculty and staff pledges from 2011. Total faculty and staff participation increased 24 percent.

Throughout the campaign, employees gave through payroll deduction and other fundraising activities. Gifts to the Rocky Mount Area United Way remain local, and fund programs and services reaching thousands of people in the Rocky Mount/Nash County area each year. The gifts reflect Nash Community College’s continued commitment to the local community.
