Congressman Tours Nash Community College Campus

Congressman George Holding visited Nash Community College on Thursday, August 22, 2013. During his visit, he toured the College’s Math Tank, English Studio and Advanced Manufacturing Lab. Congressman Holding represents the residents of the 13th Congressional District of North Carolina. “Nash Community College is honored that Congressman Holding chose to visit campus. His work in Washington on behalf of North Carolina and specifically education will translate to greater student success and a more skilled workforce. The issues we discussed during his visit, such as financial aid and student loans, Perkins, and grant opportunities, are critical to student outcomes and the future of our economy,” Nash Community College President Bill Carver said.
