NCC and NRMPS Partner for Seamless Enrollment Process

Nash Community College (NCC) Admissions and Nash Rocky Mount Public Schools’ administration have partnered to develop a more user-friendly enrollment process for Career and College Promise students at Nash Community College. With the new process, high school students will apply for admission to Nash Community College online through College Foundation of North Carolina’s (CFNC) website, cfnc.org.
To assist in the transition, CFNC hosted a training session for Nash-Rocky Mount Public Schools Counselors and Career Development Coordinators and Nash Community College Admissions which was facilitated at the College by CFNC representative Amy Denton (pictured). “We believe that using CFNC for our application will afford a more seamless process for students and school and college personnel. In the coming weeks, NCC Admissions will go out into our four local high schools to assist their students with the application process as well,” Stephanie Geanes, NCC Director of Admissions said. The Career and College Promise at Nash Community College offers pathways designed to give motivated high school students a head start on college and career training as they prepare to enter the workforce or transfer to a university upon graduation from Nash Community College.
