Second Annual Student Scholarship Sporting Clays Tournament

Nash Community College’s Foundation, SkillsUSA Chapter, and Advanced Manufacturing Club held the second annual Student Scholarship Sporting Clays Tournament on Friday, April 13 at Rose Hill Sporting Clays & Hunting Preserve in Nashville, NC. Gerald Cox and Kevin Cox co-chaired the tournament with twelve teams competing. Proceeds support NCC Foundation student scholarships and academic activities.

The tournament winners were: First Place –  Cummins Team 2; Second Place: New Standard Corporation and in third place, Kevin Cox Team. Most clays shot (Individual): First Place – John Cook, NC’s Electric Cooperatives Team; Second Place – Paul Powell (Cummins Team 2); Third Place – Mike Griffin (Kevin Cox Team).
