Early Childhood Education Faculty and Alumni Scholarship Established

Two members of the Nash Community College Early Childhood Education program faculty have established an annual scholarship to assist students enrolled in their program. Program Director and Professor, Sarah Prezioso, and Instructor, Briley Rascoe, desire to support students with demonstrated financial need as they pursue their education. The Early Childhood Education curriculum prepares students to work in diverse learning environments with children from birth through eight years old. Students combine learned theories with practice in actual settings with young children under the supervision of qualified teachers. Graduates are prepared to plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs in early childhood settings.
