NCC Faculty Earn Master Instructor Distinction

Two Nash Community College faculty members have been inducted as Master Instructors for Higher Education. Professor Robin Latham and Instructor Holly Whistler received the Master Instructor designation which was developed to identify Nash Community College instructors who exemplify excellence in three performance standards: educational professionalism, leadership and collaboration, and responsibility for student learning.

Latham earned an Associate in Arts degree in General Education at Nash Community College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education at Greensboro College and a Master of Arts degree in Adult Education from East Carolina University. She earned a Multicultural and Transnational Literatures Certificate from East Carolina University and Yoga Fit ® Level 2 Certification.

Holly Whistler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Longwood College, a Master of Arts degree in English and Master of Education in Special Education from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Both are members of the English faculty at Nash Community College.
